Monkey Puzzle (Araucaria araucana)

A super Hardy tree that monkeys don’t like to climb! Can grow a large tree and may live up to 700 years!! Its OK in coastal areas. This 3 year old sapling was grown from seed here at Island OrganiX. The first few years of growth can be slow but after 4 to 5 years this tree will grow fast!! Remember you can also control the size of the tree by keeping it in a pot!! The picture is the actual tree which is about 25 cm. It is shipped bare root.
